HOW IS A FOOD ALLERGY / SENSITIVITY TESTED ?
Molecular Diagnostic tests have been developed to detect allergies/sensitivity to over 270 different food proteins such as gluten, dairy, poultry. These tests can identify reactions from mild to severe to specific foods. Once detected, these foods can be eliminated and your gut healed by using pre and probiotics. Once removed from your diet, the symptoms of such food allergies reverse.
HOW IS THE TEST DONE ?
You will need to make an appointment for a consultation to assess your clinical condition. A sample of blood (5 ml) will be collected in a special tube which is then sent to the diagnostic laboratory. The result will be emailed to you and the doctor (this takes between 7 – 10 days). You will then need to make a second appointment (no further cost) to review the results and be guided on how to change your diet and repair the gut inflammation – if required.
